Discover the reasons for and the experiences of the Chinese immigration to America. What were the advantages, what were the difficulties and what effect does this history have on the character of the district today? We visit landmarks, shops and eateries, and explore the texture of the neighborhood as we walk through the vibrant history of one of New York’s most famous and infamous neighborhoods. Highlights include a Buddhist temple, the 17th-century Jewish cemetery and much more!

This tour ends at approximately 12 pm.
